I am really tired today :o( I am over maths homework (that 8 yr old boys can not do) and teens that are smart mouthed and lazy, and the fact that Mr Oma worked from 3am until 8pm today and was exhausted too.
It is just one of those low energy days and I am feeling crappy lol
I am sure tomorrow will be better...
Miss Daisee kept pulling at her bandage - so Caleb (14) drew a face on it and named him Mr Ouchy (he sometimes surprises me with his thinking) Daisee is leaving it more or less alone now.
Any way - I am off to bed now, so I will check in tomorrow :o)

I have been so off track this last week I am starting from scratch - Hi my name is Fionna , and I need to lose weight :o)
Once again my period reared it's ugly head - so pregnancy is proving elusive (damn my old ovaries and my husbands tired old sperm lol) Once again though - it gives me next month to get back on track.
Miss 2 burnt her fingers on Saturday, Mr Oma had taken the truck to Wellington (rugby with our boys) so we walked to A&E. She needs her dressing changed every day, but it is not too bad.
Any way - I have a pearler headache tonight so am off to relax :O)
I 'WILL' see you tomorrow!!!

The good and the bad lol
The good news was I managed to drop to 65.6 by Friday - the bad news is by today I was back up to 67.1 lol
The great news is we had an awesome weekend and ate heaps (so I should be able to drop it again this week) We tried so many new places to eat. Dinner at New Orleans (excellent) we wanted to go to Monsoon Poon but the wait was too long, lunch the next day at Arizona (horrid, awful, worst steak sandwich I have ever eaten - and the diet coke was flat) We headed off the watch the hurricanes before dinner at Hummingbirds (after trying Monsoon Poon again but an even longer wait) Humming birds was Fantastic - I thoroughly recommend it for a group of friends. It is like a tapa style restaurant but not tapa food. We had the $55 per person menu, 2 platters come out at a time with 1-1.5 of everything for each person (Just remeber the drinks are expensive). Then we headed to Strawberry fare for Dessert - Creme Brulee!!!
We started Sunday Morning (after breakfast at the hotel) with a helicopter flight over the Harbour and around Wellington, a wee bit more shopping, then off for lunch at the Loaded Hog (not bad - really cheap)
So you can kind of see where the weight gain came into it lol - no normal person can eat that much and not have any side effects ;OP
Any way I will update later with my points for the day :O)

What the heck is wrong with me???!!!!
I am back to 66.9kg :O(
Why can't I stick to my diet??!
Of course easter has not been my friend - although I did avoid all things chocolate until yesterday.
This week I am going to be good, and no matter what the kids say - there will be no takeaways!!!!
No matter how good I am this week, it will make very little difference by next week, as we are spending the weekend in Wellington with friends and will be eating ALOT!!! So whatever I lose this week by being very good - is to compensate for the weekend.
Then next week will be the week I head back on track!!!!

A busy day for me...
Foodwise - I was good today until dinner time...
I had a really busy day, A PORSE easter egg hunt with the kids, a play at the playground, then a walk around the lake.
I had constant phone calls all afternoon (One of those days lol) Running round after my kids and then off to the Dr at 5.30. Long overdue for a smear -ICK.
On the way home from that I popped into the hospital to see Grandma (she is recovering from a stroke) and it was nearly 7 before I was heading home.
Fish and chips it was :O(
I am a little disheartened at the moment as my weight has just stayed at 66.9kg - even though until today I have been really good. I guess it is just covering my little blowout on Sunday.
I have made an appointment to get my hair done tomorrow, and one on Friday to get my eyebrows, waxed, lashes tinted, and wait for it ... a brazillion lol (well nearly anyway) So hopefully that will lift me out of my funk :O)
Right - that is me for the night, see you tomorrow...

Well - I weighed myself today (I knew it hadn't been a good week) 66.9kg. The weekend was a bit of a bust lol I bought the kids easter eggs, separated them out, and ended up eating the rest :O(
On Sunday we went to a local petting zoo and ended up having a yummy afternoon tea in the lovely cafe there. So as I had blown my points well and truly for the day, I ended up cooking the pork chops that had been taunting me all week from the freezer.
The petting zoo was gorgeous (apart from the ostriches that were hissing and looking like they were going to peck my eyes out through the fence)
There was a cute pet lamb that kept trying to climb in the pram with Daisee. She was not keen and keep saying "Go away lambie, you naughty lambie!!" We feed the pigs, deer, goats, rainbow trout, donkeys, minature horses, bunnies, ducks, geese, chooks, pheasants, peacocks, llamas and emus (That is probably why the ostriches were angry, they are at the end and we had no food left lol)
I have been doing a wee bit of strength training this week too - so that could explain some of the small loss. i normally don't drop as much weight when I am toning muscle.
I am counting down the days till date weekend (weekend after easter) Hopefully I have dropped another 2 or 3 kg by then (although the amount I will eat over the course of the weekend will probably set me back lol)
For once I have folded the washing (and have even made Mr Oma yoyos for lunch tomorrow) and really must head off to bed, as Daisee is not really coming to grips with daylight savings and is waking at 6am instead of 7am. AARRRRGGGHHH!!!
See you tomorrow...

Quick post today - pretty non eventful day here.
Gaige (8yrs) won an award in assembly for a huge improvement in behaviour.
Caleb (14yrs) finished his maths and social studies assignments (that will teach him to get stood down, I ride him harder than any teacher)
Daisee (2yrs) was in a foul mood most of the day but thankfully has now gone to bed.
I booked 2 date weekends today - 1 in Wellington in a couple of weeks, and one for my birthday in June, in Christchurch. Yay - something to look forward to :O)
For some reason, as I type, my text is being highlighted yellow and it is driving me nuts lol.
Must be time to sign off - see you tomorrow...

Do you ever feel like the world is conspiring against you? LOL Yesterday was another one of 'THOSE' days.
I started off really well, eating the right food, going for a walk pushing 4 kids in the pram and then it all turned to custard. Calebs school rang me to let me know they were standing him down for 2 days (fighting), Daisee started vomiting at 4pm, and continues well into the night :O(
Mr Oma went and got fish n chips to feed the troops and came home with cream eggs to cheer me up. The upside is I didn't gain any weight.
Today has been much better (except for dealing with a grumpy teen staying home on his enforced leave of absence, was less than appreciative of me making him work on 2 assignments, then weed eat lol. His exact words were - "Stop acting like I am in prison!!!")
I have heaps of points left for pudding so will have a nutrigrain bar and an iceblock I think :O)
Hopefully the 66.9 kgs i weighed in at this morning is going to be better still tomorrow.
Once again the days washing is waiting, must be my cue to leave - see you tomorrow...

We had parent teacher interviews for my college kids today and I got to have an interview with my old science teacher (who hated me - and also hates my son lol) I kept my calm and actually rendered him speechless!! He tried to give me some 'contraband' he had confiscated, only to be told it wasn't my sons lol, it was the girl who sits next to him. I asked about his behaviour and was told it wasn't great but not too bad. When I asked why he gave my son 'unsatisfactory's' on his report, and every other teacher gave him 'excellent's' and 'achieved's', he told me it was because he wasn't organised for class. I then reminded him the one satisfactory he gave him was for being organised lol. Talk about a fish face gasping for air - hehehehe.
The rest of the interviews were fine, only to be pulled up by the year 9 dean as we left, and told about the fight he had with another boy today (he told dad about it , but neglected to tell me - GRRRRR!) Then I get a phonecall from my best friend - it was her bloody cousin he was fighting with!!!
Anyway - once again the housework is calling, and I have House recorded on mysky.
See you tomorrow...

Well yesterday was a write off - instead of our big family day outing, I got to hang out with master 8 as he puked. ALL DAY!!! Poor little man - by 10pm his back was aching from all the retching :O(
Any way - back to today, I weighed myself and Yay!!! 67.5kg. That is a 2kg loss for the week.
As I am not yet pregnant that gives me the opportunity to lose some of the weight I need to before I do get pregnant (silver linings and all lol)
I thought I would pop some pics up of the cake I made on Friday :O)

Well - I am off for the night, think I might find something yummy for pudding :O)

Dinner
4pts - steak
3pts - roast vege

Well the good news is I weighed in at 67.8 (I know - I should only weigh once a week)
The bad news being my period arrived (I am a bit glummy about it actually, I didn't think I would be bothered)
Mr Oma worked all day so I was at home with the kids all day, crampy, moody and bummed. I am very used to getting pregnant when I want to, straight away. Then he arrived home with 2 friends for beers and dinner (admittedly, he was unaware they were coming). My lounge was taken over by rugby watching, beer swilling, noisy monsters :O( The last thing I felt like dealing with.
Master 8 and I ensconced ourselves in his bedroom and watched 'Martian Child' - it was a very nice movie :O)
I am sure I will feel better tomorrow, we are having a bit of a family day and heading up to Mt Bruce for a walkabout and to the Pioneer museum for a look around.
Anyway - I must drag myself off to bed, see you tomorrow...

Day 5 (day of horrors)
EEKK!! no point even writing down what I have eaten today lol
It has been a very long day - I made a birthday cake for the neighbour and the good news is I managed not to eat any of the icing ;oP
Of course by the time I finished making it, and was made to stay and watch the cutting ceremony, it was far too late to cook dinner. :O( - KFC it was.
So all up I probably had about 25pts today - I am thinking I might head out for a walk in a minute and walk off a couple. At least I have been under on points this week - so it shouldn't be too horrendous *crosses fingers*
I went to take a picture of the cake and it turns out Miss 2 has managed to break it so I couldn't get a piccy. It was a light purple 'H', with pink glittery polka dots and a fairy princess, sitting next to a cat, and some presents, amongst daisies. They took a couple of pics, and are going to email them to me.
That is me for today - see you tomorrow...

Thank you so much for checking in on me (especially you, Chookness for leaving me little comments so I know I am being watched LOL) It is totally helping motivate me and stop me from cheating.
I am still trying to determine if I am pregnant or not -my cycle is a bit dippywoo at the moment - has been every 2 weeks and now it will be 4 weeks tomorrow (a test showed up negative today though - so I guess we just keep on trying - Mr Oma will be so sad about that lol)
Any way - must shoot off - everyone is quiet, I have more muffins baking, the vaccuuming is done, I need to put on a load of washing and fold todays washing - *sigh* a womans work seems to never be done.

Well I hopped on the scales this morning (after baking muffins at 7am because my darling husband took all the biscuits to work and left nothing for the kids) and I am down 1.1kg - yay!!
See you tomorrow though...

Another day passes. I was pretty good with food today and went for a decent walk. Hopefully the scales will be my friend the next time I jump (or step lightly) on them.
It was a lovely sunny day today so once again the washing is poking ugly (albeit clean) faces at me. Seriously - could anyone have as much washing as I seem to have??!!
Quick post from me tonight as I had to pop up and see Grandma in hospital (she had a stroke and is not looking great - although I had her giggling about her snoring and farting) so I now need to do a big tidy up as everything was running behind (you know - captain leaves the ship and all lol)
Miss 2 is calling from the bedroom - her nightly routine of calling out for 10 mins, me going in and saying lie down, she dives under the covers and goes to sleep.
See you tomorrow...

Today I had a day of always trying to get ahead but mess and chaos reigned. I have just now done the vacuuming and tidied the kitchen (I still have a Mt Vesuvius of washing to fold)
At least I got some walking in today (the sun came out in time for me to hang the bedding outside and walk to school). I walked to pick Gaige up from school - with 3 kids in the pram, and then later to his parent teacher interview.
What has really heightened my resolve this time, is I ran into my ex that I haven't seen in a few months while walking home. He commented that I had spread lol (I responded back at you big guy ) but still something you don't want to hear ;P
Never mind - give me a few weeks, hehehe.
Right - I am once again off for the night, that washing pile is leering at me... see you tomorrow.

Well, there is is, my first day. Up there for all and sundry to see :O) At least that kind of makes me answerable to you lot , lol.
I managed no exercise today , due to bad weather and a nit epidemic. I will attempt some pilates and crunches before bed and maybe a few free weights.
I did however, make some awesome puff paint and the kids and I painted some great pictures .
Does scrubbing blue paint out of the carpet count as exercise??!
Tomorrow I have the huge mission of trying to wash the bedding of 8 beds :O( and trying to get it all dry in the rain. It may be a trip to the laundromat.
Anyway - that's me for the night, the washing is waiting to be folded and as I have 3.5 pts left I have a weight watchers pudding in the pantry calling my name ;OP
See you tomorrow...

My first ever blog post :O)
I hopped on the scales today and - wait for it... I weighed in at 69.5kg. The the friggen heck did that happen??!!!
That is 5 kg more than what I weighed when I got pregnant with Daisee, 10 kg more than when I got pregnant with Gaige and a whopping 15kg more than when I got pregnant with Caleb!!! (if we really go back in time, it is 21kg heavier than before my first ever pregnancy) Holy shit!!!
Today is the day (I am writing this hoping that it will keep me on track) that I am going to start to find the old me. The only problem is the fact we are trying for another baby and with that comes weight gain lol. I reckon though I should be able to at least knock a couple of kilos off before that happens (unless it has happened already) Even so - I should be able to up the exercise and eat a more sensible diet (IE NO MORE HOT CROSS BUNS AND CHOCOLATE FIONNA!!)
So here I go - I will update daily, every evening so I can recap what I have eaten and what exercise I have done. I even may attempt to put a photo up, though I am feeling quite disgusted in myself at the moment.
Good bye wobbly body ...
